Understanding Shoe Size Systems
US Shoe Sizes
The US sizing system is the most common in North America. Men's and women's sizes differ — a women's size is typically 1.5 sizes larger than the equivalent men's size (a men's 9 = women's 10.5). Half sizes are standard.
EU Shoe Sizes
European sizes use the Paris Point system, where each size equals 6.67mm. EU sizes are unisex — a 42 is a 42 regardless of gender. The scale typically runs from 35 to 50.
UK Shoe Sizes
UK sizes are similar to US sizes but offset. Men's UK sizes are about 0.5-1 size smaller than US (US 10 = UK 9). Women's UK sizes are about 2 sizes smaller than US women's.
